I spent my early childhood in Liddonfield Housing Project in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I was the eighth and youngest child in a family of ten. Originally a military compound, Liddonfield was converted into public housing in the 1950’s. My family left Liddonfield in 1967. My own public housing story can be viewed in the attached video.
